No good deed, goes unpunished. As the “first real company” to sponsor Kader Sylla in his skateboarding journey, and in the spirit of fair journalism, Rye Beres & Thrasher Magazine, we thought it best to reply to Kader’s Baker 4 Thrasher Magazine interview & what he said about our “Weak Ass, Wack Brand”.
To be clear, we remain fans of Kader & wish him nothing but the best. As a matter of fact, when we became aware of Baker putting him on, we actually considered sending his Mother a congrats email. However, since the relationship was so short lived & nearly 5 years ago, we really didn’t even think they would even remember us. Had no idea Kader was salty & it had nothing to do with him putting an ITD Tee on the ground.
